After an accidental explosion and fire in Altadena, CA, 8 tenants (mostly elderly) and 3 dogs were displaced and the building red-tagged. Tenants were provided hotel rooms by Red Cross. A fund was set-up for donations to aid in immediate shelter needs, longer term housing and replacing essential furnishings like beds. Three tenants still need to secure housing. Either together or separate.

Made a little breakfast
Susan Rosenberg, a teacher at Homeboy Industries in downtown Los Angeles brought a Willow-proof muzzle (yay!) and bowls for the dogs plus a makeup kit which was given to Gladys who loves it. Thank you, Susan!
